Objective
To overhaul the visual identity and information architecture of Hauslane’s entire range hood packaging. The goal was to transform cluttered, fragmented layouts into a cohesive, professional system that meets international regulatory standards while improving the end-user’s unboxing experience.
Approach
-
Information Architecture: Reorganized a dense landscape of technical specifications, warning badges, and product illustrations into a clear visual hierarchy, ensuring critical safety and contact information remains highly legible.
-
Bilingual Compliance: Engineered a balanced dual-language layout (English and French) to satisfy Canadian packaging regulations without compromising the design’s structural integrity or clarity.
-
New Asset Development: Designed a comprehensive "Welcome Kit" and a standardized UPC label system from scratch, integrating barcodes and complex metadata into a clean, scannable format that aligns with the new brand language.
-
Scalable System: Developed a modular framework applied across the entire corporate product line, ensuring consistency from high-volume flagship models to specialized units.
